10 Steps to Build an Enticing Bachelor Pad

Keep the colors simple
Don’t overcrowd the layout. Don’t get a piece of furniture you already know you won’t use.
Don’t overdo the leather pieces: mix it with other fabrics.
Create an entertaining area, not just a bedroom.
You don’t want your guest to picture you standing in your kitchen eating from a cardboard box, so plan a dining area.
Mix furniture brands so it doesn’t look like an Ikea showroom.
Make it warm and cozy so your guest doesn’t get cold: add throws to the couch, warm covers to the bed - think of texture: fake animal skins, silk, wool, etc…
Accessorize! Think of plants, hang art, paint a wall dark to create ambiance.
Lighting is very important: from dimmable light in the bedroom to flattering light in the bathroom that is bright enough to see what you are doing.
Organize your closets, you don't want your secrets spilling out when your date is looking for your restroom!
